Atelier Koller is a multidisciplinary practice, working in the fields of architecture, urbanism, journalism, the organization of architectural business travels and teaching. The office was founded by Michael Koller in 2009 in The Hague, in the Netherlands.

After his architectural and language studies in Austria, Australia, Italy and France and several years of architectural practice in France, Michael Koller attended the postgraduate studies at the Berlage Institute and continued working in the Netherlands. Beside his work as an architect Michael Koller focuses since several years on the establishment of international networks between institutions in various European countries, especially The Netherlands, France, Austria and Germany.

Michael Koller participated as a project coordinator in the collateral event: « Lifting The Curtain. Central European Architectural Networks » of the 14th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia 2014.

After studying in Australia, Italy and France, he completed his studies at the Technical University in Graz. This was followed by several years as an architect and urban planner in Marseille, postgraduate studies at the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam and his work as a project manager in Dutch architectural firms. Since 2009, Michael has been a freelance architect, journalist and organizer of study trips in France, Austria and the Netherlands.
